Maytag Performa Washer PAV2200AWW Smell Rubber Doesn't Complete wash

Fills and drains OK, starts to wash, but stops. recently replaced pump. Belt intact, but maybe a bit loose.

Any ideas? Videos?

I forgot to mention. It spins when it drains. Doesn't agitate during wash or rinse just humms.

I had someone look at it. He said bad transmission. Can it spin dry with bad transmission? It will spin dry, but won't agitate during wash or rinse.

It humms during agitation portion of washing and rinsing. Is washer motor different than the spin motor? Because it does spin.

take the belt off and see if the motor turns instead of just humming

same Motor, different direction for Spin ..
yes, remove Belt and try an Agitate cycle and watch Motor to see if it runs.
