Helping some guys build a beer cooler ..8'h X 8'w X 6'd.....apx. 400 c.f. and depending on whose Size Calculator you use, 4000 to 5000 B.T.U.H. ....very little room on the top for a top mount.............side mount is hard to find so now looking on a split pack system but I will need to braze the fittings and charge the system. Vs. a top mount is all charged and ready to plug in............240 single phase ..... Thought about a top mount and mount it lower than the top off to the side with a 90 deg. air duct to blow into the side of the cooler.....Top mount...$2700.00 clams, little labor....Vs.. split pack..$ 1400.00 clams and a lot of labor..... " What do you do?"..
