Here's the scoop on the dryer! Is brand new and was sold some years ago to a customer!(didn't work there then) Anyways customer said it wasn't working and the old so called tech couldn't fix or figure out y!!! I discovered the machine in our warehouse and asked the boss about it and he explained story of the dryer! So it's been sitting in warehouse for???? And hopefully Monday or Tuesday I'm going to fix it and will post back with diagnosis!!! THANKS REG!!!!!!!!

So ...... It was connected to a bad vent ?? (there's a surprise)

No vent was clean he said, and I guess the old tech tried to fix the dryer! Boss said he changed the coils, burner,thermal cutoffs and who knows what else??? He was a part changer as far as I'm concerned and when I started working there I went and corrected alot of his goofs!!! This one was just burried in warehouse for few years and just discovered it!!!And also have heard some repair horror stories from customers whose house he'd been at for service calls, and was able to redeem relationship between customers and the company I work for! Hoping to have time to investigate the situation Monday or Tuesday and will post back with results!!!!

vent was clean he said,

I've heard that one before, wonder if it was ever tested sans vent to verify ...........

And I have had people buy new dryer from us though and then call and complain that the new one wasn't drying properly and was quick to go investigate only to find a PLUGGED VENT!!! LoL

aahhh !! and the little rubber Cap was always re-installed on the Gas Pipe Stub before any storage ?
If not, moisture can enter the Gas Valve and cause rust .

No but it was taped good!

Finally posting back on this, so I found that the gasline tube that pokes out the back of dryer and connects to inside at dryers gasvalve had a glop of what appeared to be cheap pipe dope (gray)??? Removed the b.s. And worked like a champ!!!! Don't understand how it got plugged with it but ran three loads,one with vent disconnected,one with vent connected and one with all towels!!!
