Maytag Bravo washer model# loud roar during spin, tub bearing replacement

27 posts in this topic

we have been changing the tub assembly on these, i find when the inner basket gets jammed on the shaft putting the agitator nut back on and spinning the shaft with my impact driver while lifting the inner tub gets them out easy

may be able to do this for the outer tubs IF you have a helper

we now have the tool, i plan on recycling an outer tub,do the bearings in the shop, then just do an exchange program

save the hastle of changing the bearing in the customers house

i'll let you know how our first change out goes
