Greetings Sensei!
I have a LG LMVM2055 microwave that's misbehaving. We input time to cook, press start and nothing happens. Looking at the display, I notice on the display the figures that that should be dark, are now partially lit, some brighter than others. The clock functions OK, and the timer will work, it's just when we press start to try cooking, nothing happens. I asked my bride if she recalled any power problems, beeping, etc. But she said it was like that when she woke up.
I tried pressing cancel, unplugging for a period of time, and still the same thing. I'm guessing something got fried on the motherboard, (2nd one), but was hoping for a secret code/reset fix.
Any ideas? Many thanks in advance!!
ps in case the pic doesn't load right, its here in flickr http://www.flickr.co.../in/photostream

The display that shows the time, countdown, etc. is an integral part of the control board. To fix this, you have to replace the entire control board.
