We have an upright freezer with door ajar alarm & high temp warnings. Thought this would be handy, as we have lost full freezers of food in past to someone leaving door ajar. Instead it seems to be an expensive extra determined to keep me from sleeping. The alarm goes off usually between the hours of midnight & 5:30 am. I had been having to scrape my dog & cats off the ceiling after I would get it to shut off, but they have become blase about it now after hearing it so much. I open the door & close it, have rearranged the contents multiple times, push the reset, push in on it hard to make sure the gasket seals, tried unplugging for a few minutes to see if it resets. Doesn't always do it every night. Can't locate my manual for troubleshooting help. Doesn't do it during the day, the only thing I can think of different at night is the house temperature is turned down to around 64-66 F. Any ideas appreciated.
