The dryer starts up fine, runs for a few minutes and then shuts off. It throws heat and the vent seems to be unobstructed. Soon after it quits, it can be started again, although, it seems to quit more quickly each time. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

sounds like a bad Motor.... Soon after it quits, it can be started again, although, it seems to quit more quickly each time.
Remove the Belt and try turning the Motor Shaft by hand.
Does it turn easily, smoothly ?
