NO WATER FILLS WATER FILL TIME IS SILENT THEN MOTOR RUNS TO SPRAY WATER AROUND BUT NO WATER BUT CYCLE KEEPS ADVANCING TO PUMP ETC.. PUT TEST CORD DIRECTLY ON WATER VALVE AND WATER ENTERS- SO WATER SUPPLY IS OK AND WATER VALVE IS OK-- INSTALLED NEW FLOAT SWITCH BUT NOTHING CHANGED STILL NO WATER ENTERS. ANY IDEAS APPRECIATED.

First, Check resistance of Water Valve.
A shorted Valve or a bad dual Zener protection Diode in the Harness, can blow the Controller...

otherwise, sounds like a bad Controller .

Regus...that protection varistor, when it fails, will cause the unit to trip its breaker or fuse...as It provides a path from hot to neutral when it fails...
Either a bad board or broken wire...

... path from hot to neutral, through the Controller driver component... :woot:
although, if it "opens" or is disconnected,
there would no longer "spike" (caused by the Valve Coil) protection of the Controller.

A shorted transorb (varistor) will trip the breaker ==> http://fixitnow.com/...ircuit-breaker/
