Please help any idea
I have a Whirpool Gas dryer, and gas valve not open.
Ignitor glows but turns off after gas vas valve not open, (it makes a click and ignitor turns off)
it looks to me that time of glowing is a little less than in other gas dryers

Dryer Motor runs ok
Thermal fuse ok
cut off sensor ok
thermal cut off ok
Ignitor ok 76 omhs
Flame sensor ok (continuity)
Coils replaced and ok (old & new ones)

Do you think that maight that box timer may have failure
How can I check if power is reaching coils

Thanks in advance!

Sounds like gas line has a shutoff behind dryer or in basement that is not turned on??? And do your hear a strange vibration when burner should be igniting and if so probally bad gasvalve! They say not serviceable but have tooken many apart and have fixed problem with no troubles! If it was in storage moisture probally bfound it's way in there and one of the plungers is stuck inside gasvalve!!!!

Sōhei: thanks you are right !! This dryer was in an storage for some time, and also the line on basement it had a lot of lead paste. So first I discover the lead paste was obstructing the line but still not working so then I realize that the valve had a failure it opened a little like a pilot in the base of the burner.(moisture)
Solution I clean the gas line and Valve gas replaced. Now its working perfect. thanks again
