Squeaky Montgomery Ward Signature 2000 Dryer

Serial # 92C08193
I have the above dryer in a rental house. The dryer works very well in spite of its age (1988). However, there is a metal on metal type of squeal when in operation. The tenants have tried leveling the dryer with the adjustable legs but it doesn't help. They have told me that they can get it to stop squealing by tilting it back significantly. Is there perhaps a gasket that is worn or should this dryer be junked. Your Samurai insight is greatly appreciated. Arigato gozaimasu!
