Kitchenaid KSRS27CNBL00 Ice Maker Dispenser problem

5 posts in this topic

The problem is that the "hook" in the black panel (hood, canopy) for the door dispenser pin is broken but the part is no longer available (part number 1 here http://www.repairclinic.com/Kitchenaid-Refrigerator-Model-KSRS27CNBL00-ID-906477-Dispenser-Components-Parts). The plastic front of the hook is still attached but can't sustain the pressure of the pin. Is there a way to reglue the broken plastic piece? If so, with what glue? Any help would be so appreciated.
