GE gas dryer DDG8280BACWH trips GFCI

4 posts in this topic

When we use try to use any other setting except cotton/high heat it trips the GFCI on the circuit. Just wondering if it a simple fix, otherwise we will probably replace the dryer. I have replaced the bearing on the back of the drum twice and we bought it used when BestBeloved was pregnant with (now) 19 year old.

doesn't make much sense ..

but usually, appliance manufactures don't recommend using GFCI's

(unless required by local electrical codes)

19 and used? Step up. Be a man. Buy BestBeloved a dryer.

Actually, this was a last minute check to make sure I was not being swayed by the thought of new and shiny :woot:
