I have a Beaumark Dryer, the tags shows the model number as 662412. I can not find any information for this dryer. From what I've been able to gather from Google, the dryer doesn't actually exist. All I need is an online appliance store so I can get a replacement timer.

I would greatly appreciate it if someone would help me find the parts for it. The serial number is AG723399A if that helps any, I have not been able to find anything with this number either though.

I'll have to take the dryer apart again to make sure, but that does look like it.

Take note of the number on the white tag - you can see a close up of tag when you click on the link - if the numbers match, order it up.

That's definitely it, thanks a bunch.

Just so I'm not spending $125 for nothing, what else could cause the dryer to turn on and off by itself when the timer switch is in a run position?

The start switch checks out, is there any way I can test the timer besides observation to make sure that it is the bad part?

Can you post a pic of the diagram ?

If you turn the timer around to the off detents, will it shut off then ?

Unplug the Dryer - remove the wire thet is connected to the "X" terminal of the timer and secure the wire so it is not touching ground or other wires. Plug Dryer in and turn timer to a running cycle - if dryer does not start, go ahead and replace the timer.

BTW - Here's a part link that will work for you to order in Canada: http://www.reliablep...t/inv_131789200

Sorry, it took a couple minutes to get it to scan.

I removed the "X" wire from the timer and the dryer still turns on.
I'm not sure about it though, because the dryer will run for a little while, 10-15 minutes before shutting off. I then have to wait 5-10 minutes before I can turn it back on.

Also, if I turn the switch to off the dryer will turn off correctly.

Unfortunately, It won't let me attach the file because it is too large. I can give you a link to my photobucket though. http://s1249.photobu...14/jleyden7855/

Friggy Dryer - Beaumark is (was) the House Brand for The Bay Store when it existed as such. Kinda like Kenmore back in the day, some was GE, some Friggy etc (not too much w/p to my knowledge).

Sounds more like a Motor issue, motor overheating and cycling on overload.

I've never heard of Beaumark being made by Frigidaire, (doesn't mean they weren't), but from that wiring diagram and picture of the dryer cabinet setup, that's a GE built dryer, (dual 19 ohm elements, motor and blower on left side).
