Maytag washer pulley spins but no movement in tub mav3955eww

Replaced the snubber on this machine a couple of years ago. That's still OK.

Now it won't agitate or spin. Lid switch is OK.

The main pulley on the bottom turns, but no movement (to speak of) in the tub. Also the transmission itself never seems to move.

Now given the plastic cap that covers the hub of the pulley was worn through, does that give us a clue?

Went back and tried spinning the tub by hand while it was (supposed to be) in the spin cycle. Nothing moved.

So time for a new pulley and bearing kit.

$10 donation to the Me Fund.
