Fills - OK

Drains - OK

Agitator - not working

spin cycle - was only slow speed (cloths were almost driping wet). I replaced the Snubber p/n 21002026 even used the corn starch as directed. Now it looks as though the speed is back up there.

Belt - looks good, no slack.

Springs - Look good, gave me a hard time putting them back. Probable the proper tool for the proper job would apply here.

===============================

What did I do? I replaced the Snubber. I put a light load of cloths in and turned on the machine. It filled with water OK but just hums loud for the agitator cycle, after that the spin cycle looks OK now. There was a lot of white vary fine plastic shavings on the bottom plate after dissacembly, snubber wearing I think.

Any ideas as to the cause of no agitation? Any helpp would be greatly welcomed. Thanks

Michael

Could be a bad timer. Try running the was on a different cycle and see if you can get agitation to work. If so, then a couple of the timer contacts are smoked.
