Clothes were coming out pretty wet so I checked it out. Will only start spinning with manual assist and wont come up to full speed. I replaced a clutch a few years back and this sounds like the same problem. I recall a step-by-step document with photos - can you help me locate it? Also - how to determine if the transmission needs replacing - I recall seeing some grease in the bottom of the washer last time I was in there. Thanks!

Could be a worn drive block, too. Lots of diagnostic and teardown help, including videos, on this page ==> http://fixitnow.com/...t-drive-washer/
