Has anyone had any problems with this model not cooling in the freezer compart. No frost pattern at all, appears that freon is not flowing to that evaporator. Fresh food compartment cooling ok and middle crisper drawer seems to be right temp as well. I dont think the 3 way valve is swithing properly but not real sure how to test. Anyone have any Idea's?

I dont have a manual for this unit . Different MFG.'s do it different ways. LG opens all the ports of the valve when you disconnect and reapply
power for a couple minutes, Whirlpool you have to go into service mode....samsung may be similar... if you know all the ports should be open
then its pretty much narrowed down. you might get real lucky and tap on it and get it to shift....

Thanks for the reply appl.tech. Wound up being a small leak at one of the joints in the back of this unit, Had me puzzeled because fresh food compartment was nice and cool, I thougth the freezer would try to cool down some, but it stayed pretty much room temp.
