GE dpvh890ejmg dryer will not heat.

3 posts in this topic

Dryer will turn on but will not heat. Found line voltage at triac and motor switch, heaters are ok. For a brief period it started to heat then stopped. Ran diagnostics and could not get the blower to run, it runs during normal operation. I am thinking a control board that during normal operation it will turn on blower but not sense rpm therefore keeping heaters off. Any thoughts?

See if the blower is getting 120vac at J2-5 on the Power Board. If not, then see if you're getting 120vac at J2-6. If present, then the K2 relay is fried == new PB.

Ok i will check that. Blower does run in normal operation, just not in diagnostics.
