Not unusual for the solenoid actuator for the metal arm of the icetray auger to seize up. It is located above the actuator stirrup at the back of the freezer - the actuator pin gets froze up and seizes and the solenoid melts down. Part Links below:

Open the freezer door and look underneath the ice bin.
You will see the metal rod going into the opening for the solenoid in the back wall.
The rod must be IN not under the yoke.
If it is not IN,pull the bin out then push it back in so that the rod is IN the yoke.
