Help! This is the first one of theses machines that I have seen.

Washer fills, timer advances, drain pump works but no agitate or spin.

Motor inverter board flashes 6 times indicating "locked rotor", motor and pulley spin freely in both directions. Replace motor? Has anyone seen this before? Would like some more info/confirmation before ordering new motor.

First thing to try is resetting the inverter board:

To Reset the Inverter Board: Push the timer knob in so the washer is idle. Unplug the machine for one minute. Plug back in and raise and lower the lid six times within 12 seconds.

After resetting the inverter board, put the machine in a spin cycle and see if it runs. If not, check for a green blinking light on the inverter board. It will flash failure codes according to the picture above. If no light you probably have a blown fuse built into the neutral side of the harness on the white/red wire.

Here's the service manual ==>

Inverter motor voltage tests are page 35.

Update:

Customer finally called back.

He went online and ordered the motor himself, and ...wait for it...Yes, installed it himself!!

Everything worked O.K. so I guess he thought he should at pay for the diagnoses. "Oh, and by the way, can you tell me how to fix my RV refrig,?"
