Comfortmaker GNJ050N12A1 Control Board

Hello All!

My mom's A/C recently went haywire. Not sure if this is normal but basically the outside unit spins up fine but inside we don't get any air. For awhile they could turn it off for awhile and turn it back on and it would work for a little.

Had an A/C repair tech come in recently telling me the control board is borked... And even showed me a resister seemed to have fallen of??

:( Unfortunately after going to the parts shop they said the board is discontinued and we would need to replace the whole unit. After doing some research it seems the model i'm looking for is

White Rogers 50A52-111

Are there any alternative boards I could use? Or any possible place I could get the part? Thanks a lot!

1) the outside Fan, or the Compressor ?

2) the inside Fan isn't working ?

3) post picture somewhere ?

4) here's one replacement, but it's about $ 500

Thanks for the quick reply!

1) Outside checked out fine (according to the repairman) and from my super amateur look at it, doesn't seem to have any problems.

2) Inside fan not spinning up at all. Well the test my mother had done.. was to turn it off a bit and turn it back on and it was working for a little but it's not consistent.

3) Will add pictures soon :(

4) Thanks :( 500$ is super ouch

The outside Fan and Compressor are running ?

The only thing that is not working is the indoor Fan ?

can she turn the Thermostat Fan control from Auto to ON ?

Can you post a picture of the "old" Control Board with the resistor that "fell off" ?
