Model pyg2300aww Maytag performa.. This dryer just received a new belt. It turns fine until the clothes get put in it. When you put a load in it stops turning or turns extremely slow. The motor is turning but the belt is slipping on the motor pulley. The idler pulley and the roller wheels in the back spin freely, The plastic glides on the bottom appear to be fine. I am stumped here.

Did you use the correct part number of belt???............If I remember, it is a small wrestling match to get the belt installed.........Is it routed correctly????......Some where , out there , there is a chart of most all dryer belt routing..........

Ok. Figured out the problem. The dryer motor was turning the wrong way. Unit was purchased this way, probably the wrong motor installed. Do you know of a way to switch wires around to make the motor spin in the opposite direction?
