Just replaced the spin tub (broken spider), interior of outer tub looked fine, no collateral damage. Now getting an intermittent squeaking/rubbing noise in the slower speed portions of final spin. At highest final spin speed, no noise. No noise during wash either. Thoughts? I really do not want to disassemble this beast again.
BTW, very pleased with Customer Service on the purchase of the new part. Shipping $ very reasonable too.

How old is this washer? When the belts get older, they tend to squeal against the pulleys. Either that or the new basket has an imperfection on the front lip, causing it to rub against your door boot. Both arent very common issues, but worth looking into since they dont require you to disassemble the entire unit. To check the roundness of the basket, just observe its movements with a light while it spins.
