I have a Kenmore combo unit, model number 417.90862990. The dryer drum is loose and droops downward. I believe this is likely the dryer bearing, but I am just a grasshopper and looking for Samurai's input. If so, can you point me to the bearing part #? And, if a maintenence kit happens to exist for the dryer drum, can you point that out as well?

Thanks!

Yes, drum support glides in the rear drum bearing are you're prime suspects. The following part links also have videos for how to replace them.

I thought I saw a "maintenence kit" for some models. Does one exist for this unit? it seemed more cost effective to buy the bearing, drum glides, etc. together. Again thanks and I will be placing an order for parts tonight!

Thank you!!!

And in between your favorite brews, can you take a look at this post at:

I am hoping to do one parts order - one for the dryer and one for the washer issue in the post above.
