I am in need of the service instructions on how to clear the Fault code "Check Filter / Vent".
I cleaned out the dryer vent from outside the house, Tried to use the blower on the dryer,( which shut the machine down into this fault code) , then realized the shop Vac was the correct tool to clear out the vent pipe.
I have had a repairman out twice in the past two weeks, ( cost... $488.) I would save the repairman a trip (and myself some $$) if I could clear this code myself.
This "Check Filter /Vent " fault essentially shuts the machine down until the fault can be cleared.
Any Info From the Membership would be appreciated.

I PMed you the service manual for this dryer. As near as I can tell from skimming through it, it looks like you have to actually correct the condition that's causing the fault code in order to clear the code.

Try disconnecting the vent from the back of the dryer and see if the dryer will run without the fault this way.
