To the Dojo,

I had a customer with a heavily frosted freezer evaporator cover. After putting the fridge into forced defrost mode, I performed a load check, but got NO 120VAC at the (tiny) freezer defrost heater. So, replacing the main PCB, right?

Thanks in advance,
Tyrus

... the Freezer Defrost Heater that's built into the Evaporator ?
(take a close look at the connections)
(could be replaced without cutting sealed system)

Reg,

No alarms sounded when I ran a sensor test.

Based on my reading of the service manual, the heater connects at the top right of the evaporator compartment; when in forced defrost, I got no VAC (with the heater connected).
