ASKO type TD30, art no: 1077310 T731, ser 031720156121

the read power lite comes on, but otherwise nothing. i pulled the top off but saw nothing useful to me. i did follow two wires to behind the control panel (hoping that they were the safety door switch) and managed to dislodge (break off?) the tiny lite that fit into the power switch, so now you can't even see the red lite come on.

i found 2 ceramic fuses going into the rear junction box, which tested questionable and replaced both. didn't help.

any ideas about what i can do at this point to trouble shoot?
how can i access the area right behind the control panel, so that i can glue the tiny lite back into the power switch? i looks like perhaps the front panel pries off, or perhaps i would break it by trying that.

help!

Post some photos of the wires you broke off. Make sure they're close enough to see what's going on, in focus, and also in context with the surrounding wiring. A video would be better yet because you can pan and narrate, like I do on my videos that I make on my iPhone ==> http://www.youtube.c...amuraiRepairman

ok, i will try to take the top off again and get a picture of the two wires with tiny bulb at end, but, in the meantime:
1. is it possible (and how is it done?) to remove the front, plastic, control panel, to get the to the power switch?
2. can i realistically do anything to figure out what the problem is? (short of calling a repair company)

thanks, this should help. I tried the asko site, and web search, but couldn't find it. this one is a T731, which the manual doesn't mention, but I presume that it is similar.

thanks again.
