59669272991. This is a Amana. Does anyone know how to test the damper control? Of course I will check the defrost system, but customer sees no frost on back wall of freezer.

Is it running at full speed? You need to get your eyeballs on that fan. Lots of times, these fans will just get lazy and look like they're running but they're not at rated RPMs. ==> http://www.repaircli...er=596.69272991

I should feel a good amount of air coming out of the damper assembly, correct. If I dont check to see if the evap. fan is running at a good speed?

When asking a customer over the phone if they see any frost on the back wall of the freezer, you can't always trust their opinion. The evaporator was a solid block of ice. Bad defrost thermostat.

Thanks for all your help.
