Wondering if someone could give some insight on this icemaker being I've never worked on one before. The complaint is that it 's producing watery ice (not so frozen), and sometimes no ice at all. The unit was unplugged when I got there. My first thought possibly a bad thermostat or thermistor, or even a control board. I couldn't find a tech sheet so I did request a manual. When I plugged it in it cycled water for 5 minute to flush out (like the small label said it would do). It then started running the fans, compressor, ect., the plate that freezes started to get cold, after about 15 minutes it did start freezing the water. This is where I left it. I did notice on rc.com that the parts list had a recharge kit ( service kit ).Is this something that needs recharged? I would really like to learn more about these larger icemakers, any suggestions are greatly appreciated, Thanks
