I have found out that diagnosing electronic problems is 90+% of the time spent on the repair & installing the new part is less than 10%, unlike mechanical repairs like diagnosing a leaking pump is <10% of time involved & installing the new pump is >90% of time involved.
But most of all back ordered parts are most time consuming 'cause the customer wants it fixed yesterday.
