I ran the diagnostic test and all checked fine.
The manual under the machine says to check wiring at motor and motor control and cpu.
All checked fine.
I did notice the spin never really got up to a "jet engine" speed before it shut down with an F 06 code.
Then I ran it on Drain and Spin and it drained and started to spin about 10 minutes and at the 2 minutes left mark,
it stopped, and flashed F 06
Motor bad? or maybe Motor Control board?

The MMU was blown. One of the bllack "chips" was actually blown apart and another spot on the board was burned enough to scorch the plastic cover. The first tech, not having read the code correctly, never even opened up the MMU cover to see the obvious problem.
Yes, I have the washer plugged into a high quality surge protector and no, we had no lightning or noticeable power fluctuations before this happened.
Fortunately for me it was under warranty.
While it was opened up, I checked the strainer and was very pleased to see that after 9 months there was only a tiny bit of lint and a quarter in it. I've always been worried about this unit not having easy access to the strainer.
