Maytag Washer model# mav8600awq

2 posts in this topic

The complaint on this washer is that it wouldn't agitate. It would fill, run like it was washing (the belt was turning, but no agitation), then it would drain and spin. I thought maybe it was a bad clutch, but when I lefted er up, the bottom was caked with oil. I did try turning the agitator by hand but it wouldn't flinch. Bad transmission? Your insight is greatly appreciated.
