Its actually frozen around the tray where the ice cubes are made. So its basically like a defrost system in a freezer? Is there any chance its the board? I only ask because the icemaker is literally stuck and doesn't move at all.If the icemaker is frozen around the the icemaker evaparator than the bi-metal or heater element for the ice maker failed. I recently had that situation and replaced both because I was sure which failed. I havent heard from the customer so I think that fix it.

How do you get into test mode? Also, was the fan running on your unit? There is about 12 tests that can be performed on the ice maker from the dispenser board on the freezer door. I called Electrolux for help with the tests.
