Noisy Kenmore 417.83142201 (Frigidaire) Dryer

I've got a Kenmore dryer that makes a loud vibrating noise starting about 1 minute into a heat cycle. When the dryer is cold, and running without the heating element on, it sounds normal.
I've replaced the rear bearing. It was worn, but replacing it did not solve the problem. The belt, glides and felts were replaced about two years ago and are still in good shape. I've also cleaned-up and checked the idler and motor.
I'm sort of left with the blower wheel. There are no broken bits and there doesn't seem to be excessive play anywhere. Is there anything else I can check to be sure before spending $60 plus shipping on a new blower assembly ?
BTW, did the moisture sensor on this model ever work ? I've never seen it make a difference on this particular machine.
Thanks,
Gary
