Asko Washer (Model: WM90A / 10710505) - #1 Prog Cycle Not Working

I've got an Asko washer and one program cycle isn't working (the program cycle #1). All of the other cycles (#2-9) seem to be operating completely as expected. I'm guessing that it's either the timer/timer motor or the fill valve, but I'm unsure how to test these, or what exactly I should be testing...
Can anyone give any guidance?
Thanks!

I'm guessing that since the timer/motor seems to be functioning in all other programs that the problem is the inlet valve.

I've used a lot of front load washers, none have gotten my clothes as clean as the Askos - and honestly, I've never had many issues with these units. I've just been procrastinating fixing them. Normally, I'd hire someone to do the work, but at this point in their lives, I don't feel it's worth the extra expense, especially since I'm quite capable of fixing them myself.
My only *real* complaint is theat the matching dryer is too small to dry a washer load's worth without wrinkling them. (and no, I never dry them to a completely bone dry state - except sheets - damp sheets suck)
