Ok, I need help this time instead of giving help. GE Double Wall Oven Model # JTP56W0A2WW. Customer said the clock was giving her a F7 fault code which means a stuck button on the touchpad. When I checked the bottom oven, it works fine. When I checked the top oven, it acts like it's going to work normally and then instead of a "F" code "BRD" appears in the display and the display reminds the user to hit the start button and it keeps beeping repeatedly. I don't know if I have a bad touchpad or a bad electronic range control (ERC). At almost $300 each retail price for the ERC and the touchpad I don't want to guess.

from a similar(?) service manual:
JTP56AV1 "V" series:

Determine if problem is with the Key Panel or the Control by:
1) Pushing CLEAR I OFF pad
2) Disconnecting Ribbon Cable from control and waiting at least 32 seconds see if Code reoccurs,
If code reoccurs, problem is in the Control.
If code does not reoccur the problem is with the key panel,
.
