I have a ge profile spacemaker oven model jvm1490cd003. This is a microwave/convection oven combo unit. The microwave works fine, the convection oven does not heat. Any suggestions would be most appreciative.

estimate the time you think it should take, multiply by 2,
Then change the unit of measure to the next highest unit.

Remove cover from unit, locate heating element and measure continuity - if ok, may need to check voltage to element while operating.
