Good Day Forum... It was a very confusing one for me, so I come to YOUUUU for your wisdom guidance and advice.

It started two weeks ago. Affinity washer ATF8000FE1 washer not spinning all the time or... all the way.
Diagnosis: motor control board need to be replaced - Problem: a few 'others' had been there before me.
Two days later: changed out spin board but when I fired it up an E91 error code comes up, then the Auxillary board ( 134556500) goes dark, but the interface is still lite. SOooo... like the "apprentice " I still prove to be sometime(s), I decide to hit the start button anyway. SSShhhhhhhhh... nothing but darkness...... Oops. O.k. so now I need part 134743500 TOO!!! okay... A few days later, I go to put the two boards in and this is where I see that others have been there. (Broken tabs missing screws. Ok no problem... the unit WAS working SOMEWUT when I first came)... So I change out the parts, Plug it back in and no surprize... it all lights up, but when I press start_______ No motor, no water no agitatiion. WHATS THAT ABOUT??? Tried all different cycles ('spin only' too) and NOthing but the hum of... something. (Gettn nervous now) I can hear the different components engaging at the press of start, but NOTHING atfer that except the HUMMMMMMMM. Attempted moving the wires at the motor around, then double and triple checked the connections at the spin board. I THINK I got them right, I then check the fault codes... E31. THE PRESSURE SWITCH??? REALLY??? somethin weird is goin on and I could use your help. What should I be checking next. What is all this sayn???

E91 Comunnication error between UI board and control board. Check wiring
E31 Pressure sensor not communicating with control board.
Inspect the wiring between the pressure sensor and the control board.
Defective wiring. Correct wiring.
Good wiring. Replace the pressure sensor.
If this does not correct the problem, replace the control board.

Good Day and Good Evening RegUS. Thanks for responding to my dilimma. Are you saying that the board (I already replaced) may be defective??? YES, that is possible, but how can I prove it? The e91 has not returned, and then theres the Cost issue.

As You should already know... I have GREAT Respect for you and your knowledge...... I will change the pressure switch as you suggestbut would that stop the unit from spinning in a spin only cycle???

I attemped to go to diagnostic mode on the unit but couldnt remember the sequence and the tech sheet (of course) was already 'missing'...... But I NEED to see that motor turn, and ... its NOT!!!

Uno??? I thought about And considered that, but then my overthinkin mind kept goin past it because the owner said that one of the previous guys (recently) had changed the door lock and ... it was workn for a while, so I went beYOND the lock. Guess I should go back to that. The Diagnostic Mode (Tech Sheet) was missn from the unit, and I havent memorized the sequence to test the componants. Can You help??? But NOTE: When the "Spin Only cycle is selected and start button pushed, the 'Door Locked' light comes on and engages. Tried pulln on the door and it IS locked.

Suggestions??????

1) tech sheet linked in my previous post
2) when Door "IS" locked,
unplug power cord from Wall Outlet.
Can you open the Door right away,
OR only after a few minutes ?

RegUS... I will check on the door lock matter in the morning. (its Sunday night here, for 1 more hour). but I'll let You fellows know what I find out. Thanks for hangn n there with me on this....
