GE Dryer Model #DDE9600RAMWH, timer part #WE4X795, I order this timer thinking it would be wire for wire easy replacement only to find not enough terminals for the existing wires. Do i need to take apart the old timer and put the switches in the new one? It appears the black wires are not excactly like the original timer. Do i just need a different part #? Thanks for any input...

You ordered the wrong part #. It should be WE4X794.

You are both very helpful and I just ordered the correct part. Just for my information, does the more expensive timer have more features? Thanks again for the info...

Yes, the more expensive timer has more terminals.

I don't know why both would be listed for the same model ... :banghead:
Your Timer may be able to be used,
but without a wiring diagram (hard to get), I wouldn't know
