(2) then the heavy and quick light began flashing....(over level water error)
Could this error be due to an obstruction in the food chopper area or in the drain line? Causing a slow drain which in turn may leave too much water in the machine for the computer to advance through the cycle?
Any thoughts greatly appreciated
Oh yes customer added that this unit is about 3 weeks old and that it worked flawlessly for the first two weeks.

When it starts the Drain Cycle, does the water actually drain OK (completely) ?

I was on a warranty call for Assurant Solutions, so i only wanted to do the minimum required ,as they do not pay for xtra labor above and beyond their diagnostics. This was my first service call for them and i was trying to feel them out to see if they were trying to be fair with their servicers or not. They pay the same for 1 trip out or for 4.(Calls are based on triage)Their theory is that 75-80% of calls only require 1 trip so in the long run the servicer comes out ahead, this has not been my experiance. So i told the customer I would get the dishwasher fixed for them even if Samsung and Assurant didnt pay.But on my next trip i would like to be well prepared.

Do not know how many techs. carry this part on their service vehicles, ( I don't ). So this is a two trip minimum service call............Finish the service call in 1 trip ??????
.............I work on all brands...I would need a 27 foot trailer to work for this company..
.........................P.S. Who pays/ purchases the part??? I had one warranty place call, They said they will pay $ 125 and they will provide the part.........No way , Jose'......Part mark-up part of the business.....

N.E.W. is famous for supplying their own parts. They are ridiculously cheap when it comes to purchasing parts. I went on a call on a Whirlpool electric range, it needed an infinite switch. I asked for the OEM Whirlpool switch because the wiring was a quick disconnect, rather than wire for wire, they sent me a Robertshaw universal infinite switch. I was PISSED because now I had to take the wires out of the quick disconnect and reroute the wires because the terminals were not in the same locations! So first they only pay for 1 service call, and NOW you are going to waste my time because now I have to retrofit the part because you are cheap? I DON'T THINK SO!
