The left-front burner, when turned on, will not stop sparking. I've ordered a new valve/switch for it, but wasn't able to easily determine how to get into the thing while I was there last.
If anyone can point me to the manual, or an easy way into the unit, I'd lift a beer in your name. (Darn things are hard to email!)
Thanks!

... Capital Culinarian series
... It's the 60"
... GSCR48Q or GSCR486
I can't find ant service on it, yet ...
1) The "Culinarian" series would have a "C" before the GSCR48 model number ...
2) GSCR48 signifies 48"
3) could be:
GSCR48__ (4G, 4W, 4QG, 6Q, 6G, 8)
GSCR60__ (4QG,4QW, 4GW, 6QG, 6G, 6W)

I'd also sent an email to Capital requesting the manual, but when they got back to me, they said that even they don't have a service manual for it. The best they could do was send me an exploded view (which I can post here if anyone's interested and I can figure out how).
Thanks for the effort Reg. I do appreciate it. Alas, I wasn't able to make it to the store to restock on beer today, so you'll have to settle for a toast with a rum and Coke!

This most likely uses the spark module with re-ignite meaning that anytime you turn any switch on it will send power to the spark module at all times for any on position of the valve, the module sense the flame at the burner and stops sparking. If the flame goes out for any reason the spark module will start sparking again to re-light the burner. When changing out a spark module you must be careful to make sure all wiring is attached properly, (each burner will have it's one switch input and spark output, if you get any of the wires swapped around it would cause your problem but it would be on multiple burners).
Grounding problems with the burner that won't stop sparking or ignitor broken or out of position so not in the flame correctly when burner lights or a bad module will cause this problem.
