She called me back the other day because she said the oven temp was way to high. I checked it and, yes it was to high. I adjusted the thermostat dial(screws and plate on back of the dial) and now it seems to be about 25 degrees off. It turns on at 200 and turns off at 250.
I just wanted to no if the broil element works in tandem with the bake on this unit. When I went back the broiler element was hanging kind of low and was not working. I don't think they do, but with no wiring diagram, I don't know.
To answer your question Samarai, yes I do have 240v.
I thank you all for whatever comments or inqueries you may have,(except maybe dumba s you don't do favors for friends and family). Have a great and prosperous day.

This is within the allowable variance. This problem is solved.

On many ovens, they'll fire both elements during preheat for quicker and more even heating of the oven cell.
When I went back the broiler element was hanging kind of low and was not working.
Check element resistance. If you get something in the K-ohms, M-ohms, or open, replace it.
