I have an Viking downdraft model# VIPR181RSS.Unit goes up and down just fine, however when in the up position the fan should start to run and it doesnt.I can hear a humm,or buzz like its trying and also a burning or overheated circuit board smell. As soon as I push it to go down of course the humm and smell go away.I guess I want to know how to take it apart and see if maybe something is stopping the fan from working or from your masterful experience should I just tell the customer that he needs a fan motor and circuit board for this unit which the parts are almost as exspensive as the whole downdraft assembly itself. Thanks Viking!I guess they are in the repair business as well taking the chance of making any money from us.Any help would be appreciated
Thank you DRYERMAN45
