I have a Kenmore side by side refrigerator model # 106.57762790. If I rotate the coldness gauge up to 6, the coldest, the compressor does not turn off and the refrigerator will get ice cold. If I turn the gauge down to 5, the compressor turns off but never turns back on. The refrigerator then gets warm. The compressor will keep the frig cold but once it satisfies and turns off it does not turn back on.
