Question: Is it possible to replace the seal without un-stacking the dryer?
Thanks.

This unit is an Allaince Washer/Dryer.
I recieved the seal today and the instructions mention using "special tool 318p4" to remove the dispenser drawer.
Of course that tool is not included in the kit.
Is anyone familiar with this? ![]()

not needed, use a flat tip screwdriver under the tab on the bottom of tray. remove retainer wire from seal with spring in slot on panel edge, screws from panel bottom, swing out carefully, unclip harness from panel top, rotate panel clockwise and set off to left side, now remove clamp from tub, older models will need to remove hose from valve on rear of soap tray, newer models have a worm clamp near the seal and don't come with the long hose, seal has a tab to locate in the 12 o'clock position (wetting the seal ) on tub and panel side will help with re-assy.
