A new iron ! ...........sorry i just can't help myself
in all honesty
repairing irons faded out in the early 60's
most of the time you can't even get them apart anymore , or the plastic becomes brittle from heat and falls apart
these irons have 3 parts. a sensor , a control board and a heater
an open heater will make the board click
a bad board will make the board click
a bad thermistor will make the board click
trying to get the parts from the factory in China where there made will make you go nuts
