The microwave makes an almost intermittent, rhythmic "pig snort" noise from the top area.  It seems to be heating OK,  and turntable works fine.  Is there a safe way to open this up to see what could be making the noise?

This manual should suffice - check the stirrer on top of the oven's cavity

The pin pulls out and the cover spins to a detent and pulls off - you will be able to see one side of the blade. Motor mounts from above and cabinet requires removal for that.
