Thanks Reg, but already have that service manual. It doesn't have the exact wiring diagram for the 1090. Trying to figure out why this washer with single speed motor has 2 capacitors.

Thank you sir, it only shows one capacitor, maybe it's not the right manual for this washer, maybe the washer only has one capacitor (parts list shows two). I'm not the one working on this machine, otherwise I would have it all figured out myself.

According to the GE site, 31-15551 is the correct minimanual for this model number.

according to Sears, 31-15551 is the correct mini-manual
Sears GE diagram lists (1) Capacitor #217 in the Control Panel
and (1) #217 listed in the Cabinet&Cover, but not on it's diagram
