I have not been out to verify this but here's the deal:
A couple of weeks ago a customer called me late on a Saturday evening needing a thermal fuse for her dryer. I sold her one.
She replaced the thermal fuse and her problem was solved (temporarily).
A few days later she calls me back and said that now the timer just keeps going after it passes the point where it's supposed to shut the dryer off. She said it just skips right over from one cycle to another.
Bad timer right?
Customer buys a new timer. New timer does the same thing. She just called me back and told me that timed dry works but keeps going at the point where the timer shuts down the dryer. I think she said it then goes into auto dry. At the point where it goes into auto dry she said the element stays on but the drum stops turning. This is probably where the thermal fuse was blown from before.
Anyone ever had an experience like this with this dryer? What could it possibly be other than a bad timer?
