myrepairman
HELLO Great Samurai of Appliantology! I have a customer in a remote location, about an hour and a half drive one-way, who says his control panel is completely out and I'm wondering if this oven has any secret reset switches or some other safety that would disable the panel. I'm going to need a service/troubleshooting manual/sheet for this. Thank you for your assistance. Ross the serial number is: 18722634CE

Budget Appliance Repair
If just the display is blank but you can still input all functions and everything seems to work, except for the display, then you have a bad clock/display board. Usually this can be corrected by replacing the 3 power capacitors that are in a group together on one end of the board if you want to fix at the board level for your customer. A new display board is going to be $150-$200 retail. There is a discussion thread around here somewhere regarding this and the merits of fix at board component level or not. myrepairman
I thought I had responded to this thread a few times. Anyway, the elements work. The display works too but the buttons don't change a thing. I'm thinking it's the board, but will be searching for the discussion thread on this. Thank you for all the assistance and advice.
